Jeep Wrangler Seat Covers — The One Rule
Wrangler seat covers are generation-specific. JL, JK, and TJ all have different seat pan geometry. A cover built for the JK will not fit correctly on a JL. Every recommendation on this page is organized by generation for exactly this reason.
The other thing Wrangler owners get wrong: confusing 2-door (JL/JK/TJ) and 4-door (JLU/JKU/LJ) fitment for rear covers. Front seat covers are usually interchangeable between 2-door and 4-door within the same generation. Rear covers are not — the rear bench dimensions differ.
Wrangler JL / JLU Seat Covers (2018–Present)
The JL is the most configuration-sensitive Wrangler generation. Three things to confirm before ordering:
- Body style: JL (2-door) or JLU (4-door) — front covers same, rear covers different
- Trim: Mojave and 392 have unique front seats — most covers explicitly exclude them
- Year: 2024+ optional power seats — confirm power-seat compatibility if your Wrangler has side-bolster adjustment controls

Wrangler JK / JKU Seat Covers (2007–2018)
The JK ran from 2007 through 2018 and is still one of the most common Wranglers on the road. JK seat covers do NOT fit the JL — the seat geometry changed significantly when the JL launched. Front covers are interchangeable between the JK (2-door) and JKU (4-door); rear bench covers require the correct body style.

Wrangler TJ / LJ Seat Covers (1997–2006)
The TJ (1997–2006) and its long-wheelbase LJ Unlimited variant are a different seat geometry from both JK and JL. Bartact makes TJ-specific covers. For Amazon, always search specifically for TJ or "Jeep Wrangler 1997-2006" — do not order JK or JL covers expecting them to fit.

The Grand Cherokee is a completely different vehicle class from the Wrangler and Gladiator.
